Good point. I'll change my tune a little, then give up.
Err... by the way, I voted you for admiral before I read this.

As much as the idea of a killing spree appeals to me I have another thought on our actions on the day of the battle.
Assume the threat level is at the minimum 5 that it needs to be to start the battle. Lets use all our actions to raise it another three. Bliss has said it doesnt go to 0 after the battle it just loses 5 points so if we dont lose any basestars it will eb at 3 after the battle.
The next day it will naturally raise to 4 and we can bump it 1 more. That will give us 2 battles in teh space of 3 days. Whatever damage we can do to Pegasus and Phallactica tomorrow may now be fully repaired in that time.
I have some thoughts on which ships to target but I will wait till tomorrow to see where everyone ends up during the battle.

My vote is on +3TL today. If we use kills today and lose more than one Basestar in the upcoming fight, then we won't get an attack on day 10. We must ensure that we get our battle on day 10. If we lose only one Basestar, then we have two kills to use during the fleet battle, but we have to wait until day 8 before we use those kills.
Since Colonial One will be docked with Phallactica, I suggest we blast it to hell in the upcoming fleet battle. Since Phallactica and Pegasus have exactly the same stats, by attacking Phallactica, we have a better reward for exactly the same risk, and we might off the Admiral or President with the collateral damage death chance.

Actually the Pegasus (600) has more hp than the phallactica (500).

I'm backing Delrolands idea on this one. As a slight tweak to it, the night before the final battle, we should all move to one ship together, and just not target that ship. That way, we can go all out on the ship with the most people on and maximise casualties with no risk to ourselves.

So have we decided on a course of action today?

Bliss may have just fraked us bby saying he might extend for another day, but I'm still fairly confident.
Tonight I say we bump threat x3, let them stew without a seer or a vig, then tomorrow during the fleet havoc we kill Mr.B(?) and someone else, while also bumping the threat level to get us our day 10 battle, where we can kill another 3 on top of battle casualties.

If we do go into a day 11, then we just move to any ship that might have survivors and start whacking people. That would really be the only thing left for us to do at that point.

I'm fine with a 3 threat level hike. We've gotten most of their specials, right? If only we could get to those ace pilots.
