If FrostMist detonates the bomb today, I think it would be pretty easy to lay the blame on Stew Stick or PK. Yeah, they'll eventually narrow it down to FrostMist, but the damage we'll cause might be worth it.
There's more people on the Phallactica now than we're likely to see for the rest of the game. I dunno, I think it's a good opportunity.

it would draw a huge amount of attention to those of us who survive the attack. Is killing 3 to 4 people now worth giving up two of us, when we can kill a few later with almost no risk.

You know, looking at the ship rosters, I agree with thorgot. If he, or anyone else on our team, heads to the Pegasus, to join up with Pollo and Seriously,we can cause ungodly amounts of chaos and panic. I like the idea of setting two bombs off at once. And if it's during a fleet attack, all the better.

Timing the gas will be tricky. If Mr.B is ordering people off, we might miss our window. On the other hand, if we do it during an attack, we'll have everyone on the phallactica and on colonial one in danger, including the admiral and president. It might also be possible for the humans to discover the bomb if we just leave it sitting around. I would wait if it was up to me.
Osvik, that's how I'm playing it in my mind. There are plenty of npcs, more than enough for multiples of the same model to slip around.

That's another good point, and one I hadn't thought of. What if the humans have a high Disable Device modifier?
We wouldn't want our bombs just sitting around waiting to be disabled.
However, I still vote wait and blow up the Pegasus, too.

Actually, the more I think of it, the more I agree that mass panic = epicness = awesome, so yes, let's hold off on the detonation.
There's still enough of us left that we can most likely still get enough people on the Pegasus. Anyone who doesn't get an order from Blarney should move there, anyone who does get an order should obey, as the bomb will have been planted by then. I can't though because I'm alone, moving anywhere will draw attention to me.

I would have Pollodiablo and Seriously stay put and have either Gumpy or Psycholarry move from their ship. I wouldnt have too many of us moving between the Phallastars so when the bombs go off nobody can be tied to both ships

Ok, agreed. I have orders from Blarney, so who's going to the Pegasus? Also, Seriously and Pollo, are you guys able to stay put, or did Blarney order you elsewhere?

I'll be staying put. We also need to make sure no one looks like they just moved to a ship, then away from it, because that would look suspicious as hell once the bombs go off.
e: to the Phallastars, that is.

Oh MrBlarney
clever girl
He wants me on the Virgon Express. The jerk is probably trying to compartmentalize us, which is especially disturbing when you consider there might be multiple seers.

Hmm... Is there any way to fight this? Ignoring orders seems like a pretty quick ticket out an airlock. They're likely to order everyone into as many small groups as possible. Is there any way to turn this to our advantage?

More accidentalizing places where we aren't?
But that's slooooooooooooooooooooow going
Since this whole diffusion thing is
apparently
a strategy to keep casualties low when the basestars hit, I could just say I want to be safe on the strongest ship in the fleet, but MrBlarney probably knows I'm usually pretty open to suggestion when I'm a vanillager.
EDIT: But then, I'm also pretty open to suggestion when I'm a vanillain as well.
I really just don't have a mind of my own.

I still think we should use the threat level to scare everyone into jumping onto the better armored ships, then set off the gas. I suggest we set the bomb today, jack the threat level to 4 tomorrow, then gas the day after that. If we are REALLY lucky, we'll get the three nuke keys in the process, and even if all three Cylons aboard the Phallactica are fingered, at least one of them should be able to get out with the nuke, as it seems there are not enough vig kills to take out every survivor on Phallactica. Edit: then, of course, we nuke Pegasus and let the Cylon fleet handle the rest while we chill sippin' on Pina Coladas waiting for the resurrection ship to jump in system.

well we've already got one bomb planted, so it's not all bad. If we just accidentalize from now until the basestars arrive, we should still be able to hold off the mob long enough to cause mass panic.
Don't forget, if Blarney is being a pest, we can accidentalize him as well without being discovered, though it is possible he might be guarded. But if we're worried about that, we have two so-called guards we can take out first.
